The approximate capacity of the sauce is 12 cm because when you add 7 cm plus 5 cm you get 12 cm. I don’t know if my answer is right but hopefully it is!!

PLZ HELP ASAP DENSITY WORD PROBLEMS
yuradex [85]
We know the mass and the volume, using which we can find the density.

Density = Mass/Volume

So,

Density = 16950/1.5 = 11300 kg/m³

So the coins of made of Lead as the density of coins is equal to the density of Lead

So correct answer is option C

Yuto and Lian are at train stations 1,880 kilometers apart. Yuto boards a train heading east at an average speed of 220
Doss [256]

Answer:

1,000 km

Step-by-step explanation:

Assume that when two train pass each other, Lian has traveled x (km)

=> The time Lian has traveled when two trains pass each other is:

Time = Distance/ Rate = x/ 250 (hour)

As Lian and Yuto travelled from the two opposite train stations and the train stations are 1,880 km apart

=> When two train pass each other, Yuto has traveled 1,880 - x (km)

=> The time Yuto has traveled when two trains pass each other is:

Time = Distance/ Rate = (1,880 - x)/220 (hour)

As Lian and Yuto board at the same time, so that when two trains pass each other, the time both of them have traveled is equal

=> x/ 250 = (1,880 - x)/220

=> 220x = 250 x (1,880 -x)

=> 220x = 470,000 - 250x

=> 470x = 470,000

=> x = 1,000

So that, when two train pass each other, Lian has traveled x = 1,000 km

SunDrop Candies Inc claims that their 3 ounce bag of candies contains over 90 pieces of candy.
nlexa [21]

Answer:

a) X~N(μ;σ²)

b) [87.695 ; 89.464]

c) and d) check the explanation below

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello!

The objective of this experiment is to test if the claim of the company is correct and the 3-ounce bags of candies contain over 90 pieces of candy.

For this, a sample of 26 bags was taken and the number of candies per bag was counted.

The study variable is X: number of candy pieces in a 3 ounces bag.

a)

Using the sample data I've made a Shapiro-Wilks test,

H₀: X has a normal distribution

H₁: X doesn't have a normal distribution

α: 0.05

p-value: 0.5675

Since the p-value is greater than the significance level, we can assume that the study variable has normal distribution:

X~N(μ;σ²)

b)

To make this confidence interval, considering I only have sample data, I choose to use the Student t statistic.

Sample mean X[bar]= 88.58

Sample standard deviation S= 2.19

t_{n-1;1-\alpha/2} = t_{25;0.975} = 2.060

The formula for the interval is:

X[bar] ± t_{n-1;1-\alpha/2} * (S/√n)

88.58 ± 2.060 * (2.19/√26)

[87.695 ; 89.464]

c)

With a confidence level of 95%, you'd expect that the interval [87.69; 89.46] contains the value of the population mean of the number of candy pieces in a 3 ounces bag.

d)

The SunDrop Candies' claim is that their 3 ounces bag contains over 90 pieces of candy. Symbolically: μ > 90

Since their claim would lead to a one-tailed hypothesis test and the calculated confidence interval is two-tailed, you cannot use it to decide whether or not the company's claim is true. But, seeing as the two bonds of the interval are below 90 you could think that the company's claim is not correct. Of course this is just an idea, you must perform a statistical test to test if the company is wrong or not and, of course, have a statistical backing of your conclusions.

I hope it helps!

Number 1 is 2 because first you find out how many times 42 goes into 84 so you do 42x1, 42x2 and so on until you can't do anymore without going over 84 so 42x2 is 84 exactly so you put the two on top of the "house" above the 4 and put 84 under 84 then subtract 84-84=0 so you don't continue dividing and the number on top of the "house" is the answer
