Select each correct answer.

The ordered pair (−1, 5) is a solution to the first equation because it makes the first equation true. The ordered pair (−1, 5) is a solution to the second equation because it makes the second equation true. The ordered pair (−1, 5) is not a solution to the system because it makes at least one of the equations false. The ordered pair (−1, 5) is a solution to the system because it makes both

Well since it gives you 2 gas stations it wants you to compare prices

Als gas station will be A
At-one will be B

since station A has $3.259/ gallon I assume
and B has $3.199/ gallon

just subtract them

so 3.259 -3.199 = 0.06

gas is less at station B noticeably costs less so thats your first answer

for the next one if you bought gallon of gas at the cheaper station you'd be saving $0.06/gallon since we got the difference from subtracting them.

Based on the NYC Department of Health Community Health Survey in 2010, a 95% confidence interval for the proportion of New Yorke
g100num [7]

Answer:

With 95% confidence, at least 1,794,000 were tested for HIV within the past 12 months

Step-by-step explanation:

The lower bound of the confidence interval is 29.9%.

So, with 95% confidence, we know that at least 29.9% of the New York population tested for HIV.

Out of 6 million, that is:

0.299*6000000 = 1,794,000

With 95% confidence, at least 1,794,000 were tested for HIV within the past 12 months

How do you explain how you convert a decimal?
Troyanec [42]
For example if we have 7/10 we have one 0 in the denominator so we move the decimal spot 1 to the left

So:
7.0 becomes 0.70 or .7

To make a decimal into a fraction:

0.32

Just add two zeros to the right and that means 2 0's will be added in the denominator
so:

0.32
32.0/100 or 32/100

Hope that helps :)
