Amastia (B) is the term used for the condition without breast.

Further Explanation:

Amastia is a rare clinical anomaly wherein both the nipples, as well as breast tissues, are absent. It can be either complicated or isolated with other syndromes like syndactyly, lipoatrophic diabetes, and ectodermal dysplasia. This can be categorized into different kinds and each may cause different pathologies. Amastia is the absence of one or both the mammary glands; however, the nipples remain present, whereas the athelia refers to the absence of one or both the nipples; however, the mammary gland remains.

Amastia is due to the failure of embryologic mammary ridge development or due to incomplete evolution. Individuals with amastia frequently suffer from ectodermal defects that include many syndromes like cleft palate, abnormal formation of the upper limb, and isolated pectoral muscle. The treatment for female amastia usually involves breast reconstruction and psychological guidance. Since having breast represents the capability to nursing, amastia might compromise the physical as well as mental health of the females. Many a time’s people avoid medical treatment due to the misconception about the condition. Proper counseling, as well as surgery, is needed to enable the normal adult life of such people.
