Answer:

1. The Sun, reflected sunlight from planets and moons, heating by friction when traveling through an atmosphere or gas clouds, and released heat from planets.

2. The gas is heated and allowed to expand at such a rate that the fall in temperature due to expansion is less than the rise in temperature due to the heat supplied.

3. Prolonged exposure to extreme heat can cause heat exhaustion, heat cramps, heat stroke, and death, as well as exacerbate preexisting chronic conditions, such as various respiratory, cerebral, and cardiovascular diseases.

4. The thermal resistance is defined as the ratio of the temperature difference, dT, to the heat transfer Q. This is analogous to Ohm's law, in which the electrical resistance is defined as the ratio of the voltage drop across a resistor to the current flow across the resistor.

5. Heat energy is the result of the movement of tiny particles called atoms, molecules or ions in solids, liquids and gases. Heat energy can be transferred from one object to another. The transfer or flow due to the difference in temperature between the two objects is called heat.

Is everyone in your class able to hear a quiet sound equally well?
Sergio039 [100]

Answer:

No

Explanation:

Loudness describes how people perceive sound (see loudness). ... If people could hear equally well at all frequencies, the contour lines would be flat because the same measured sound intensity would be perceived to be equally loud regardless of the sound frequency. In fact, people do not hear as well at low frequencies.

Learning Goal: To review the concept of conservative forces and to understand that electrostatic forces are, in fact, conservati
CaHeK987 [17]

Explanation:

The electrostatic forces are conservative forces!

The mainly property of the conservative fields is \vec{\nabla} \times \vec E=\vec 0

In spherical coordinates the field's expression is:

\vec E=\frac{Q}{4\pi \epsilon _0 r^2} .\^r

and the curl expression is:

\nabla\times \vec E=\frac{1}{r^2{\sin}\,\theta}\left|\begin{matrix}\hat{r} & r\,\hat{\theta} & r\,{\sin}\,\theta\,\hat{\varphi} \\& & \\\frac{\partial}{\partial r} & \frac{\partial}{\partial \theta} & \frac{\partial}{\partial \varphi}\\ & & \\E_r & rE_\theta & r{\sin}\,\theta\, E_\varphi\end{matrix}\right|=(0, 0, 0)

to find the expression for the potential function associated:

\vec E=\vec \nabla . V, \Delta V= V_b-V_a=-\int _c \vec E.d\vec l=-\int _c E\^r.dr\^r=-\int _c Edr=\int \limits^a_b \frac{Q}{4\pi \epsilon _0 r^2} dr= \frac{Q}{4\pi \epsilon _0}.(\frac{1}{r}|^b_a)= \frac{Q}{4\pi \epsilon _0}.(\frac{1}{b}-\frac{1}{a})

When the instantaneous voltage and current in an ac circuit are in phase, we know that?
Vaselesa [24]
We know that the centripetal acceleration is zero, since the summation of forces is the mass times the acceleration in the x- component.
