There are several information's already given in the question. Based on the given information's the answer can be easily deduced.

Base of the parallelogram = 3 1/2 feet
                                          = 7/2 feet

Altitude of the parallelogram = 3/4 feet

Area of the parallelogram = base * Altitude
                                         = (7/2) * (3/4)
                                         = 21/8
                                         = 2 5/8 square feet

Help please! Solve the inequality.
Maru [420]

Answer:

x≤-3 1/2 or x>1

Step-by-step explanation:

The way we solve this is we simply rearrange the equation using algebra.

Step 1) For the first inequality, subtract 1/2 from both sides. This gets x by itself and turns the RHS into -3 1/2.

Step 2) For the second, add 3 to both sides. Once again, x is by itself, and the RHS is equal to 1.

zloy xaker [14]

Answer:

\large\boxed{D.\ x=-2(y+3)^2-1}

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a horizontal parabola in the standard form:

x=a(y-k)^2+h

(h, k) - vertex

if a > 0, then open right

if a < 0, then open left

We have the vertrex (-1, -3) and the parabola is open left (a < 0).

Therefore the equation of a given parabola could be:

x=-2(y-(-3))^2+(-1)=-2(y+3)^2-1

How would 5/9 be classified? 1. Rational and real? 2. Whole and integer? 3. Only real? Or 4. Only irrational
Elena-2011 [213]
A rational number is any number that can be written as a ratio or a fraction.

So 5/9 is  a rational number. So basically that eliminates 2, 3, and 4.

And we are left with 1. as our answer choice which is Rational and real.
