11 if you multiply 11 by both the number and and the variable you’ll get 11x-55=66. Add 55 to each side which will give you 121 then divide that by 11

Answer:

11

Step-by-step explanation:

1.Como primer paso debemos realizar la distributiva para destruir ese paréntesis :

11x-55=66

2. Después procedemos a dejar la variable a despejar en lado izquierdo del igual y las constantes al lado derecho :

11x=55+66

11x=110

3. Por ultimo procedemos a despejar esa x que esta acompañada de una constante de tal forma la constante que esta multiplicando pasara a dividir con la otra constante :

x=110/11

x=11

De tal manera la respuesta es aceptable ya que 11 se encuentra dentro del conjunto {6, 7, 11}

Otra manera es sustituir el 6,7,11 para saber  cual cumple la ecuación

x=6

11(6-5)=?66

11(1)=11---->Esto es incorrecto 11 No es igual a 66

x=7

11(7-5)=?66

11(2)=22---->Esto es incorrecto 22 No es igual a 66

x=11

11(11-5)=?66

11(6)=66---->Esto es correcto 66 Si es igual a 66

What is the answer to this geometry problem
Marizza181 [45]
Because we were not given any specific point to start off with. I choose (2,2), which is shown in red as 1.

We translate it 2 times.
a) (x+5)(y+3) = (2+5)(2+3) = (7,5) is our new point (shown in brown as 2)
     Translation process shown in yellow.

b) (x-4)(y+2) = (7-4)(5+2) = (3,7) is our final point (shown in orange as 3)
    Note that we use the 2nd point for the second translation as required.
    Translation process shown in lime.

We can therefore determine from the picture below that you can use the translation (x+1)(y+5), which the translation process is shown in blue.
Proof: (x+1)(y+5) = (2+1)(2+5) = (3,7)

Now let's do it again, except we do the second translation first and the first translation last.

c) (x-4)(y+2) = (2-4)(2+2) = (-2,4) is our new point (shown in purple as 4)
    Translation process shown in pink.

d) (x+5)(y+3) = (-2+5)(4+3) = (3,7) is our final point (shown in orange as 3)
    Translation process shown in dark blue.
    Same rules as (b). Notice how the final point is still the same? Therefore it     makes no difference.

Hope I helped a lot :P

Tony has 2/3 gallon of milk. He wants to equally share the milk between 3 milkshakes
Flura [38]
Tony would divide 2/3 by 3 witch would be the same as 2/3 x 3 = 6/9 and then its 6÷3= 2 so its 2/9

Starting with 195 grams of a radioactive isotope, how much will be left after 3 half-lives?
MrMuchimi
After one half-life:  \frac{1}{2}\times 195=97.5 grams.

After two half-lives:  \frac{1}{2} \times 97.5=48.75 grams.

After three half-lives: \frac{1}{2} \times 48.75=24.375 grams.
