What is the density of Radon (Rn) gas at a temperature of 100°C and a pressure of 0.75 atm?

Chemistry

Answer:

Density of Radon is  5.44 g/.

Explanation:

Given data:

Temperature of gas = 100°C (273+100 = 373 K)

Pressure of gas = 0.75 atm

Density of gas = ?

Solution:

First of all we will derive the formula.

We know that,

PV = nRT

and

n = m/M    (m = mass, M = molar mass)

PV = (m/M) RT

PVM =  (m/M) RT ×M

PVM = mRT

PVM/V = mRT/V

PM = dRT            (m/V = d)

Now we will put the values in formula:

Molar mass of Radon is 222 g/mol .

0.75 atm ×222 g/mol = d× 0.0821 atm.L/mol.K ×373 K

166.5 atm.g/mol = d×30.62 atm.L/mol

d = 166.5 atm.g/mol / 30.62 atm.L/mol

d = 5.44 g/L

Answer:

See explanation

Explanation:

A. Constitutional or structural isomers have the same molecular formula but different structural formulas.

B. Conformational isomers are compounds having the same atom to atom connectivity but differ by rotation about one or more single bonds.

C. Stereo isomers are compounds having the same molecular mass and atom to atom connectivity but different arrangement of atoms and groups in space.

I. Enantiomers are stereo isomers (optical isomers particularly) that are non-superimposable mirror images of each other.

II. Diasteromers are optical isomers that are not mirror images of each other.

Both diasteromers and enantiomers are types of optical isomers which in turn is one of the types of stereo isomers.

Stereo isomers differ from conformational isomers in that the arrangement of atoms in stereo isomers is permanent while conformational isomers results from free rotations in molecules about single bonds.

Ammonia (NH3) can be produced by the reaction of hydrogen gas with nitrogen gas:
sp2606 [1]
B) 40%
The balanced equation indicates that for every 3 moles of H2 used, 2 moles of NH3 will be produced. So the reaction if it had 100% yield would produce (2.00 / 3) * 2 = 1.333333333 moles of NH3. But only 0.54 moles were produced. So the percent yield is 0.54 / 1.3333 = 0.405 = 40.5%. This is a close enough match to option "b" to be considered correct.

What is the formula for lead carbonate?
Irina18 [472]

Answer: PbCO

Explanation: its quite simple really, you need to get a periodic table and find the symbol of said elements. Lead is Pb, and carbonate is another word for carbon and oxygen, so it is C and O
