Slope Formula: y2-y1 / x2-x1

I am assuming that (6,-9) is our (x1,y1) and (-5,-9) is our (x2,y2)

So (-9)-(-9) / (-5)-(6) = 0/-11 = 0

Hope this helped.

Determine the common difference for each arihmetic sequence 1,5,9,13
Zolol [24]
The common difference is 4. If you look at the numbers 1 and 5, there is a difference of 4. If you look at 5 and 9, there is also a difference of 4. If you look at 9 and 13, there is a difference of 4. Therefore, in this arithmetic sequence, the common difference is 4.

The midpoint of the line segment from upper p 1p1 to upper p 2p2 is left parenthesis negative 1 comma 5 right parenthesis(−1,5).
aliya0001 [1]
The coordinates of the second point are (2, 4).

The midpoint formula is:
m=(\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_1+y_2}{2})

Substituting our information, we have:

(-1, 5)=(\frac{-4+x_2}{2},\frac{6+y_2}{2})

This means that
-1=\frac{-4+x_2}{2} \text{ and } 5=\frac{6+y_2}{2}

Multiply both sides of both equations by 2 to cancel it:
-1\times2=(\frac{-4+x_2}{2})\times2 \text { and } 5\times2=(\frac{6+y_2}{2})\times2
\\
\\-2=-4+x_2 \text { and } 10=6+y_2
\\-2+4=-4+x_2+4 \text { and } 10-6=6+y_2-6
\\2=x_2 \text{ and } 4=y_2

This gives us our coordinates (2, 4)

Tina makes 480 sandwiches 3/8 of the sandwiches are tuna and 35% of the sandwiches are beef. The ratio of the number of ham sand
GalinKa [24]
Total no. of sandwiches = 480
No. of tuna sandwiches = 3/8*480 = 180 sandwiches
No. of beef sandwiches= 35% of 480
                                     = 35/100*480  = 168 sandwiches
Remaining no. of sandwiches = 480-(168+180) = 132 sandwiches
Let no. of ham sandwiches be 5x
Let no. of cheese sandwiches be 6x
5x + 6x = 132
11x = 132
x = 132/11 = 12

No. of cheese sandwiches = 6x = 12*6 = 72 sandwiches
No. of ham sandwiches = 5x = 5*12 = 60 sandwiches

In a survey 200 people were polled at a local shopping center about spending free time playing sports, watching a movie, or read
LenaWriter [7]
A) 60
b) 50
c) 70

The proportion of males that prefer sports is 0.3; 0.3(200) = 60
The proportion of people that prefer to read is (0.15+0.1) = 0.25; 0.25(200) = 50
The proportion of people that are female is (0.15+0.05+0.15) = 0.35; 0.35(200) = 70
