Auto immune diseases are those that are attached to the immune system enzymes of the body and thus need to be treated with the system itself, rendering the body vulnerable to other form of ailments.

Immuno suppressant drugs weaken the immune system and suppress the reaction as the diseases they are working against are attacking the tissue of the body. The weakening of the immune system makes the disease less potent and it eventually dies out
