5/2c - 3 = 3/7c + 4...subtract 3/7c from both sides
5/2c - 3/7c - 3 = 4.....add 3 to both sides
5/2c - 3/7c = 4 + 3....common denominator of 7 and 2 is 14
35/14c - 6/14c = 7...simplify
29/14c = 7....multiply both sides by 14/29, eliminating the 29/14 on left
c = 7 * 14/29
c = 98/29 = 3 11/29

Allison has 6 blue pencils and 10 yellow pencils.sadie has 24 pencils that are either blue or yellow.the ratio of blue pencils t
sammy [17]
6 (Allison's number of blue) divided by 16 (Allison's total) is equal to x (Sadie's blue) out of 24 (Sadie's total).
So 6/16=3/8=x/24. So x=3*3, so Sadie's amount of blue pencils is 9. The rest of Sadie's pencils are yellow, so Sadie has 24-9=15 yellow pencils.

Shawn sells 36 vehicles in 4 weeks. Brett sells 56 vehicles in 7 weeks .who seeks more vehicles per week
myrzilka [38]

Answer:

Shawn

Step-by-step explanation:

We can find the amount of vehicles sold in one week by dividing the total vehicles sold by the number of weeks

Shawn:

36 vehicles / 4 weeks

9 vehicles/week

Brett:

56 vehicles / 7 weeks

8 vehicles/week

9 is greater than 8 so Shawn sells more vehicles per week
