B.55 degrees is the answer

The answer would be 55 because the total degree together is 180 degrees
so you add 40 degrees plus 30 degrees and get 70 degrees
then subtract 180-70=110
and because there is 2 y variables so you divide 110 divided by 2
so then you would get ur answer of 55 degrees
to check 40+55+30+55=180
Hope this helps :)

Solve the system using substitution x+5y=0 3y+2x=-21
Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

\left \{ {{x = -15} \atop {y=3}} \right.

Step-by-step explanation:

\left \{ {{x + 5y = 0} (1) \atop {3y + 2x = -21}(2)} \right.  \left \{ {{x = -5y} \atop {3y + 2x = -21}} \right.    \left \{ {{x = -5y} \atop {3y + 2*(-5y) = -21}} \right.  \left \{ {{x = -5y} \atop {3y - 10y = -21}} \right. \\ \left \{ {{x = -5y } \atop {-7y = -21}} \right.  \left \{ {{x = -5y} \atop {y= 3 }} \right.  \left \{ {{x = -5 * 3} \atop {y=3}} \right.=> \left \{ {{x=-15} \atop {y=3}} \right.

Which of the following rational functions is graphed below?
Zepler [3.9K]

Answer:

  D.  F(x) = 1/(x +5)²

Step-by-step explanation:

The vertical asymptote at x=-5 tells you that x=-5 will be a zero of the denominator. The only equation with a denominator factor of (x+5) is ...

  F(x) = 1/(x +5)²

_____

<em>Additional comment</em>

The fact that the value of F(x) does not change sign at the vertical asymptote tells you the denominator factor will be of even degree. That is taken for granted here, as all denominators are squares in the answer choices.
