Let his original money is x

So, \frac{x}{2} + \frac{x}{3} + 2.25 = x
or, \frac{3x+2x+(6*2.25)}{6} = x
or, 5x + 13.5 = 6x
or, x = 13.5

So, he had $13.5 originaly.

Thanks!

1 - (1/2 + 1/3) =
1 - 5/6 =
1/6 = 2.25
2.25 * 6=

13.50

Evaluate <br> f(12)=3/2x+14<br> f(-4)=3/2x+14<br> f(0)=3/2x+14
Illusion [34]

When f(x) is substituted with a number, you just plug the number into wherever you see x:

_____________

f(12) = 3/2x + 14

f(12) = 3/2(12) + 14

f(12) = 18 + 14

f(12) = 32

f(-4) = 3/2x + 14

f(-4) = 3/2(-4) + 14

f(-4) = -6 + 14

f(-4) = 8

f(0) = 3/2(0) + 14

f(0) = 0 + 14

f(0) = 14

What is the area of the trapezoid? Leave the answer in simplest radical form. The figure is not drawn to scale.
inn [45]

Answer:

  • 72 ft²

Step-by-step explanation:

The bottom side length of the triangle is the difference between the top base length and the bottom base length:

  13 ft - 5 ft = 8 ft

The vertical side length of the triangle is the same, because the triangle is an isosceles right triangle.

Since we know the base lengths and height of the trapezoid, we can use the usual formula for the area:

  A = (1/2)(b1 +b2)h

  = (1/2)(5 ft + 13 ft)(8 ft) = 72 ft²

1/3x^2+2 what does the graph look like
Anna11 [10]

Answer:

The answer in the procedure

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

\frac{1}{3}x^{2} +2

This is a vertical parabola open upward with the the vertex at (0,2)

The vertex is a minimum

The y-intercept is the point (0,2) (value of y when the value of x is equal to zero)

The graph does not have x-intercepts, therefore the solutions of the quadratic equation are complex number
