Ok so if the half of the perimeter is 6. 6×2=12...
There are three sides so 12/3 =4.......4m is the length of each side.
If we draw a line straight down the top of the triangle down to the middle of the base.....this line would be the height of the eq. triangle. This gives us a right triangle where a is unknown, b =2, and c=4
a^2+b^2=c^2
a^2+4=16
a=2×sqrt3
a is the height of the eq.

The area of the eq = 1/2× base × height

A=(1/2)×4×2sqrt3
A=6.93

So 7m^2 is the answer

Which can be used to expand the expression below?
KiRa [710]

Answer:

Distributive Property

Step-by-step explanation:

We have

5(3x - 6/7)

Distributive Property would work because 5 has to be mutliplied by 3x and -6/7 to rid the parenthesis and also give a final answer for the equation. Any others will lead to a wrong answer.

Find the area and the circumference of the circle with the radius 6yd.
fgiga [73]

Answer:

A = 36π yd² ≈ 113.04 yd²

C = 12π yd ≈ 37.68 yd

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula of an area of a circle:

A=\pi r^2

The formula of a circumference of a circle:

C=2\pi r

r - radius

We have r = 6yd.

Substitute:

A=\pi(6^2)=36\pi\ yd^2

C=2\pi(6)=12\pi\ yd

If you want round the answers, then use π ≈ 3.14

A\approx(36)(3.14)=113.04\ yd^2

C\approx(12)(3.14)=37.68\ yd
