A circle is 360 degrees. When cut in half, 360/2 = 180, the new angle of the shape is 180. Cut the half circle in half again and you get 180/2 = 90. It sounds like you only need to cut it into half twice, (if not, then you divide it in half how ever many times it says to) The angle would be 90 degrees. Hope this helps!

Helpppppp ,would this just be -1.2?
brilliants [131]
<h3>Answer:   1.2</h3>

Explanation:

The result of any absolute value function is never negative. It represents distance on a number line.

The distance from -1.2 to 0 on the number line is exactly 1.2 units.

So that's why |-1.2| = 1.2

In short, we erase the negative sign.

shtirl [24]

Answer:

<h2>             23 cars</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

total number of cars:    x

the total number of axles:    46

and the number of axles  installed per car:   2

2 axles in each car, then total instaled axles:  2•x

2•x = 46

x = 46÷2

x = 23

Given the function f(x) = 2(3)x, Section A is from x = 0 to x = 1 and Section B is from x = 2 to x = 3.
jeyben [28]

f(0) = 2(3)(0) = 0  ⇒  (0, 0)

f(1) = 2(3)(1) = 6  ⇒  (1, 6)

<u>rate of change from x = 0 to x = 1</u>

\frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1} = \frac{6 - 0}{1 - 0} = \frac{6}{1} = 6

******************************************

f(2) = 2(3)(2) = 12  ⇒  (2, 12)

f(3) = 2(3)(3) = 18  ⇒  (3, 18)

<u>rate of change from x = 2 to x = 3</u>

\frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1} = \frac{18 - 12}{3 - 2} = \frac{6}{1} = 6

*****************************************

Since it is the same line, they will have the same slope (aka rate of change).
