30 + 1x = 18 + 5x
subtract 18 from both sides
30 - 18 + 1x = 18 - 18 + 5x
12 + 1x = 5x
subtract 1x from both sides
12 + 1x - 1x = 5x - 1x
12 = 4x
To clear the multiplication by 4, divide both sides by 4
12/4 = 4x/4
3 = x
It will take 3 months until they have the same amount of CD's
They will each have 33 CD's

Answer:

250 jars

6 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

We know they make 50 jars in an hour, so 50 times 5 is 250 jars in 5 hours. Since 300 is 50 more than 250, and we know 50 times 6 is 300, we can say that we would need 6 hours to make 300 jars.

Show that if a ≡ b (mod n) and m divides n, then a ≡ b (mod m).
s2008m [1.1K]
If a\equiv b\mod n, then there is some integer N such that a=Nn+b. Because m|n, it follows that m|Nn, which means there is some integer M such that a=Mm+b, which is equivalent to the statement that a\equiv b\mod m.

babunello [35]
3 small notebooks and 3 large ones
My reasoning is 3 times 7 is 21
63 - 21 = 42
3 times 14 is 42
So 42 + 21 = 63
Therefore 3 small and 3 large
