1st plug in 42.30 as C. 42.30=9.8v+22.7
2nd: subtract 22.7 from both sides to cancel it out. 42.30-22.7=9.8v+22.7-22.7
3rd: simplify. 19.6=9.8v
4th: divide by 9.8 so that it cancels out. 19.6/9.8=9.8v/9.8
5th: simplify. 2=V

Well it's giving you what the cost is (42.3), so plug that in for c:

42.3 = 9.8v + 22.7

And now you need to solve for the number of visits (v)!

19.6 = 9.8v

v=2

So you can visit the museum a maximum of 2 times!

altogether there are 7 marbles in the bag.

put the marbles in fractions, so blue would be 3/7

and red would be 4/7. but becuase you need 2 of the same, you do

3/7 x 3/7 = 9/49

4/7 x 4/7 = 16/49

then add them togther
