Let the amount of money that each person got =2x, 3x and 5x respectively.

→2x+3x+5x=90

→10x=90

Dividing both side by ,10 we get

→x=9

Money received by

1.→First friend=2×9=$ 18

2.→Second Friend=3×$9=&27

3.→Third Friend=5×$9=$45

If money is divided not according to quantity of work,they are doing ,one way is ,rate of doing work of first friend is 4 times the second friend , and rate of doing work by third friend is 4 times the second friend.Required ratio of their wages are

1:4:16, but if we write the ratio as

  1:16:4, it will be Inappropriate.
