At Liam's basketball game tonight, a college scout is likely to be in the crowd. Liam is in good shape and believes that both he

and his teammates are ready to perform well. But he's very nervous anyway. Which statement is probably true about Liam's stress?
His stress is mostly psychological, and he should find something fun to do until the game.
He is experiencing positive stress that will improve his performance, so he should not try to change.
He should spend the afternoon engaged in physical activity so he can reduce his stress.
As the game starts, he will move from the resistance stage to the fatigue stage of stress.

What is the difference between muscles being “told what to
svetoff [14.1K]
There are voluntary and involuntary muscle movements, put your hand on a hot stove for example and your reflexes generally do it for you. That is involuntary and movement produced by the nerves and nerve ending because of the pain that your nerve felt. The doing after telling the brain is something called motor function and the movement isn’t produced on reflexes and nerves alone, it’s a combination of your muscular system and brains motor function working together.

Hope this helps!

What do you do if a resident only wants dessert for their lunch
Orlov [11]
Have a conversation and tell them positive things about having a healthier lunch. You could also tell your resident about the smell and taste of a healthier lunch that you might want to give them. If that doesn’t work, just straight up tell them “no” and explain that it is unhealthy and you are trying to do what is best for them.
