1. Knowledge about law and regulation regarding human resource Practice would help jamaal make a decision in handling employees without exposing the company toward a potential lawsuit.
Through this knowledge, Jamal could know things that couldn't be done in the hiring and staffing process, such as using discrimination toward a certain race or not disclossing the full right and obligation for the employees.

2. Determining staffing needs would help jamal to identify the type and amount of human labour that the company need to achieve its goal.
On top of that, it also help Jamal in fulfilling the necessary hiring without having to spend beyond company's budget.
