The Ghana Empire (300s-1200s CE) would have been most likely to have traded with Muslim caravans. (Option "A" is the correct answer)

The Ghana kingdom developed as a West African empire since its wealth was due to the trans-Saharan trade with salt and gold. The Berber-speaking people who became Muslims with the Muslim conquest of the Maghreb, crossed the Sahara Desert so as to commerce with the Ghanaians. Thanks to the introduction of the camel which allowed a trade network from Morocco to the Niger River, the Muslims from North Africa were able to increase commercial transactions with the Ghanaians. As a result, the Ghana Empire became more powerful and rich . Not only did the Ghana rulers encourage the development of urban centres, but also the expansion and control of trade routes.

Atlas and other children his age begin to engage in play activities that are more elaborate and purposeful. What is happening in
klemol [59]

Answer:

Atlas is probably developing gross motor skills like being able to walk on their tiptoes or to stand on one foot. They are developing fine motor skills like being able to snip things with scissors.

Explanation:

It seems from the question prompt that Atlas is probably about 3 years old and they are acquiring gross motor skills like being able to climb well and to skip. They are also starting to refine their fine motor skills at this age and they can use scissors and hold a crayon and eat themselves. By age 4 they will be able to manipulate clay for example. This is the stage where children are moving beyond just performing parallel play at 2 years old to associative play at 3 to 4 years old.

_______ is to instinct toward life as _______ is to instinct toward death. A) Jean Jacques Rousseau Thomas Hobbes B) Eros; Thana
Hatshy [7]

Answer:

B) Eros; Thanatos

Explanation:

Freud identifies two fundamental drives: Eros a drive to live, with a counterpart , a drive to die: Thanatos.

He uses both terms to identify drives related to survival: instincts, like hunger, thrist, and sexual drives.

The death instincts on the other hand, often engage in conflict , as they represent a "inner desire for dying", represented in irrational manners : hurting others, hurting onelself, murder.

He then applies these forces in the study of the subconscious mind in psychoanalysis.
