This is the concept of proportionality;we are required to find the ratio of perimeter of smaller polygon to larger polygon.
To solve the question we need to know that since the length of the corresponding sides of each polygon is equal, the ratio of their perimeters is the the same as the ratio of the sides;
thus
[perimeter of small polygon]/[perimeter of larger polygon]=[side length of small polygon]/[side length of larger polygon]
thus  the ratio will be:
2/4=1/2
the answer is 1/2

Two lines intersect, and you know the measure of one angle. How can you determine the measures of the other three angles
alukav5142 [94]

Answer:

Opposite angles are the same measure.

Angles around a point = 360°

When you add all the angles, you get 360.

Angle a and b would measure the same and so would angle d and c. So you double the measure for one of those angles and subtract it from 360.

Then, you half that value( divide by 2) and this is to find the measure of the other angle

I NEED HELP :_( Which of the following points is in the solution set of y > -x∧2 + 5? (0, 5) (2, 4) (1, 3)
marysya [2.9K]

Answer:

\huge\boxed{(2;\ 4)}

Step-by-step explanation:

We have

y>-x^2+5

Put the coordinates of the given points and check the inequality:

For (0; 5) → x = 0; y = 5

5>-0^2+5\\5>0+5\\5>5\qquad\bold{FALSE}

For (2; 4) → x = 2, y = 4

4>-2^2+5\\4>-4+5\\4>1\qquad\bold{TRUE}

For (1; 3) → x = 1, y = 3

3>1^2+5\\3>1+5\\3>6\qquad\bold{FALSE}

Sherrell mowed 2/5 of the lawn and Trace power 1/3 of it. How much more of the lawn did Sherrell mow than Trace?
Sergeeva-Olga [200]
Sherrell mowed 1/15 more than Trace because when you convert the fractions to equivalent fractions with the same denominator, you get 6/15 and 5/15.
