Because we use more than any other country, and this is not a renewable resource. We are using more, and sooner or later we will all run out. Countries that are not using as much (like every other one out there) know that we need it in order to continue running the way we have. I(Using Zombieland now) f you have the LAST Twinkie and Tallahassee is wayyy wealthier than you, I think how you can see that you might have some leverage over him. :)
