Does when food is eaten affect weight gain? a study was introduced that examined the effect of light at night on weight gain in
mice. in the full study of 27 mice over a four-week period, the mice who had a light on at night gained significantly more weight than the mice with darkness at night, despite eating the same number of calories and exercising the same amount. researchers noticed that the mice with light at night ate a greater percentage of their calories during the day (when mice are supposed to be sleeping). the computer output shown below allows us to examine the relationship between percent of calories eaten during the day, daypct, and body mass gain in grams, bmgain. a scatterplot with regression line is also shown below.
The total amount of calories that you take in, and how much you exercise during the day, are what affect your weight. However, many people do tend to overeat and choose high-calorie foods as snacks at night, both of which will cause weight gain.
The nervous system controls all the functions of the body through the transmission of nerve impulses throughout the body.
The nervous system is composed of:
Central nervous system: brain, spinal cord
Peripheral nervous system: nerves
Sensory nerves in various parts of the body conduct nerve impulses and transmit the signals to the central nervous system that generates a response that travels through motor neurons to the site of the stimulus.
Apart from the nervous system that communicates through electrical signals, the endocrine system coordinates body functions through chemical signals.

The corpus callosum associates the left half of the cerebrum to the correct side, each side being known as a side of the equator. The association permits data to go between the two parts.
Corpus callosum is Latin for "extreme body," and the corpus callosum is the biggest connective pathway in the mind, being comprised of in excess of 200 million nerve strands.
Occasionally, an individual will be conceived without a corpus callosum. This is known as agenesis of the corpus callosum, and it causes a wide assortment of physical and social indications.
Each side of the mind controls development and feeling in the contrary portion of the body. The halves of the globe additionally process data, for example, language.
In this manner, physical coordination and taking in complex data requires the two sides of the cerebrum to cooperate.
