Answer:

<u>Use the formula for area of the triangle:</u>

  • A = 1/2bh, where b- base, h- height or altitude
<h3>Part A</h3>

<u>The triangle i has:</u>

  • b = 4 cm, h = 1.5 cm

<u>The area is:</u>

  • A = 1/2*4*1.5 = 3 cm²
<h3>Part B</h3>

Triangles have same area as they are congruent.

<u>Total area is:</u>

  • 3*2 = 6 cm²

I NEED HELP...finding the slope-intercept form equation
Simora [160]

Answer: y=-13/12x-7

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the slope-intercept form, we first need to find the slope. To find the slope, you use the formula m=\frac{y_{2}-y_{1} }{x_{2}-x_{1} }. We use the two given points to find the slope.

m=\frac{32-6}{-36-(-12)} =\frac{26}{-24} =-\frac{13}{12}

Now that we have our slope, we can start filling out the slope-intercept form equation.

y=mx+b

y=-13/12x+b

Since we don't know the y-intercept, we can use one of the given points and solve for b.

6=(-13/12)(-12)+b                              [multiply (-13/12) and -12]

6=13+b                                              [subtract both sides by 13]

b=-7

With the y-intercept, we can complete our equation.

y=-13/12x-7

Select the student who reads the fastest (greatest number of words per minute)
kirill115 [55]
Im pretty sure it would be Ariel.
Tamar reads 600 words in 5 minutes, so he is already out of the question since Levi reads 700 words in 5 minutes. (Levi reads 140 words in 1 minute, so add 140+560=700 because they read 560 in 4 minutes)
So I think it’s Ariel because in 4 minutes she reads 600, and where the 5 would be, if you go straight up, it’s over 700 (if i had to guess, 750 since it’s counting by 100s and it would be in the middle of 700 and 800)

A businessman marks the price of a washing machine 30% above the cost price and provided 15% discount. Find the profit percentag
sergiy2304 [10]

Answer:

10.5 percents

Step-by-step explanation:

1)100+30=130 percents;

2) 130/100*15=19.5percents of discount from the first price

3) 130-19.5=110.5 percents- new price from the initial price

4)110.5-100=10.5 percents - the percentage of profit
