A teacher grades American History exams and returns them to the students. She asks if there are any questions about the test. On
e student insists the exam was unfair because of some of the questions. The teachers says it's important to study hard, that all students had the same test, and that students should be expected to remember everything they have learned about history from other teachers and should always be prepared to be tested on it. Infer what the student's original claim might have been about and what counterclaim the teacher made about that claim. (4 Points)
The claim would be that some of the questions on the test were unfair and the counterclaim would be that they were fair, the student just should've been more prepared. im pretty sure
The students original claim could have been "This test isn't fair because some of the questions I had never seen before." The teacher may have responded "It is your personal responsibility to study more than what I teach you once you leave school. Everyone had the same test. Some studied, some didn't. Some passed, some failed."
- - - A claim is an argument. Counter means against so a counterclaim is an argument against the previous one.
A thesis pretty much just explains what your argument is and why. an example would be America was justified in starting a war with icu because __ and ___
