Communication involves both verbal and non-verbal messages.

Further Explanation:

Communication is just the act of transferring the information from a place, person or group to another. It requires presence of three basic things:

1. A sender: They encodes the message .

2. A message: Can be in the form of mixture of words and non-verbal communication.

3. A recipient: Decodes the message. There can be more than recipient during the communication.

The message transfer may be influenced by a variety of things like emotions, the type of medium, cultural situation and the location of an individual. The accurate, effective and unambiguous communication is hard to achieve.

Types of communication:

1. Verbal communication: This includes telephonic, face to face or communication through the media.

2. Non-verbal communication: It includes body language and gesture.

3. Written communication: It includes letters, e-mail, magazines and the books.

4. Visualization: It includes the maps, logos etc.

An effective communicator always tries to choose the appropriate communication channel and effectively encodes the message to reduce the misunderstanding by the recipient.

aniked [119]

Answer:

They break down the pathogens that enter the body

Explanation:

 1. Macrophages are the first line of defense .
 2. They engulf any pathogen that gets in their way in a process called phagocytosis
