I believe you mean mid-ocean ridge?

If so, true.

A mid-ocean ridge or mid-oceanic ridge is an underwater mountain range, formed by plate tectonics.

This uplifting of the ocean floor occurs when convection currents rise in the mantle beneath the oceanic crust and create magma where two tectonic plates meet at a divergent boundary.

A mid-ocean ridge demarcates the boundary between two tectonic plates, and consequently is termed a divergent plate boundary.

If the first low tide occurs at 5:10 a.m. on Friday when will the next low tide occur
jonny [76]

The correct answer is - 5:35 PM on Friday.

The low tides, as well as the high tides, occur two times in a lunar day, on exactly every half a lunar day passed. A lunar day is 24 hours and 50 minutes long, so every next low tide, or high tide, appears after 12 hours and 25 minutes after the previous one. In this situation we have a low tide that has appeared at 5:10 AM on Friday, so in order to calculate when the other low tide will appear we need to add 12 hours and 25 minutes on it, and that will gives the information that the next low tide will appear at 5:35 PM on Friday.

Explain what would happen if a mistake is made during meiosis
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Errors can occur when the chromosomes segregate into the gametes during meiosis resulting in egg or sperm with too many or too few chromosomes. As a result, fertilised eggs and the ensuing embryos may have trisomy (an extra chromosome of a particular pair) in each cell or monosomy (one chromosome fewer in each cell).

Dmitriy789 [7]
The continental drift affects living organisms in that it causes changes in climates which puts selective pressure on organisms, causes changes in habitats, including when large amounts of shallow marine habitat were lost in the formation of Pangea. Additionally continental drift may cause an increase or decrease in competition among different species and also it happens so slowly that it does not affect living organisms
