Louis thinks that spending time with family is important. But his family lives five hours away, and he doesn't enjoy making the
long drive. He tells his family that he's just busy with school and work, but he always feels guilty for not being entirely truthful. His self-respect is starting to decrease. Why is this?
If I had to choose I would have said A, he's going against telling his family that he believes it's important but as well as that his disregard to commitments can always make you feel like you're slipping away from your own judgement of character and in result has made himself feel bad about telling his family one thing and doing another. To achieve a fluid family life commitment and urge to stay in contact is a necessity even going through work and school, there is no harm in putting some time aside for family.
