The formula for solving the inertia (I) is I=mr² where "m" represents the mass of an object and "r" represents the perpendicular distance to the rotation axis.
item 1= 100 kg rock
Item 2= 5kg book
item 3= 60kg person
item 4=2000kg car.

An 1,840 W toaster, a 1,460 W electric frying pan, and a 50 W lamp are plugged into the same outlet in a 15 A, 120 V circuit. (T
shutvik [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

Given

Power drawn by toaster P_1=1840\ W

Power drawn by Electric fan P_2=1460\ W

Power drawn by lamp P_3=50\ W

Voltage applied V=120\ V

If appliances are applied in parallel then Voltage applied is same

Power is given by P=\frac{V^2}{R}

Resistance of toaster R_1=\frac{120^2}{1840}=7.82\ \Omega

Resistance of electric Fan R_2=\frac{120^2}{1460}=9.86\ \Omega

Resistance of toaster R_3=\frac{120^2}{50}=288\ \Omega

Current is given by

I=\frac{V}{R}

I_1=\frac{120}{7.82}=15.34\ A

I_2=\frac{120}{9.86}=12.17\ A

I_3=\frac{120}{288}=0.416\ A

A baseball is thrown a distance of 60 meters. What is it’s speed if it takes 1.5 seconds to cover the distance
e-lub [12.9K]

Answer:

V = S / d = 60 m / 1.5 sec = 40 m/s

Note 40 m/s = 40 * 3.28 = 131 ft/sec

131 ft/sec =  131 ft/sec / (88 ft/sec / 60 mph) =   89 mi/hr
