Answer:

People who reach puberty before their peers experience changes in themselves. They don't see people around them doing the same and may feel self conscious  or embarassed about themselves. Kids around them might look or treat them differently. The kids who don't identify as straight, whether it be homosexual, bisexual, pansexual, etc., face bullying and harassment from other students. They might feel insecure and have anxiety about facing the people around them.  Challenges faced by these people include discrimination and lack of support and understanding from family and peers. They may experience bullying and bias which hinders social growth.

The kids who aren't respected because of their differences may have life long impacts on them. They might never feel accepted and could always carry the weight of anxiety and depression. They might feel as if everything has to conform and not be themselves. But if their differences are recognized then respect for others that are different would be sky high. They would be more at peace with themselves and have the same rights as people who aren't queer. Kids that hit puberty would be treated the same as other kids and not bullied for their appearances. Many kids would have less anxiety and depression levels might come down. Everyone would feel like they belong in this world and that being who they are isn't 'weird.' Society would also be more open minded about different orientations and would be more likely to accept what isn't their 'norm.' But if their differences are recognized and respected then they would be able to grow into responsible adults with high self-esteem with social and personal growth.

Which of the following statements is NOT true?
kondor19780726 [428]
In human anatomy, it is the heart that pumps the blood so that it is distributed to throughout the body to provide oxygen and nutrients to the other organs. Hence, it passes different conduits. The largest conduits are the arteries which carries blood away from the heart. Pulmonary arteries, in particular, direct the blood from the heart's right ventricle towards the lungs. The smaller diameter conduits are the veins. Generally, the veins carry deoxygenated or used blood and bring it back to the heart. Exceptions to this is the pulmonary vein and umbilical vein. Finally, the capillaries are very small blood vessels that transport blood between the arteries and the veins.

From the choices, the false statement is letter B. Although this could be true for the pulmonary and umbilical vein, the majority of the veins still transport the blood back to the heart.
