“Find the value of x if 30(3x-10)”

step one: multiply the 30 by the two terms which are 3x and 10.
- 90x-30

step two: divide by thirty
90x-30/30 = 3x-1

x=3x-1
x+1=3x-1+1
x+1=3x
x+1-x=3x-x
1=2x
1/2=2x/2
1/2=x

answer: x equals 1-2

If f(x) = 3x2 + 2 and g(x) = x2 – 9, find (f – g)(x).
hoa [83]

Answer:

2x^2 +11

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = 3x^2 + 2 and g(x) = x^2 – 9

(f – g)(x) =  3x^2 + 2 -( x^2 – 9)

Distribute the minus sign

                     3x^2 + 2 - x^2 + 9

Combine like terms

                     2x^2 +11

Nezavi [6.7K]

Answer:

d) x=5

Go to station 10

Step-by-step explanation:

-\left(1+7x\right)-6\left(-7-x\right)=36

Expand:

-1-7x+42+6x=36

-x+41=36

Subtract 41 from both sides:

-x+41-41=36-41

-x=-5

Divide both sides by -1:

\frac{-x}{-1}=\frac{-5}{-1}

x=5

uysha [10]

Answer:

Option 1 is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to select the option which is not the condition of a Tessellation.

A tessellation is a regular pattern made up of shapes that perfectly fit together or we can say it is an arrangement of shapes closely fitted together, especially of polygons in repeated pattern with no overlaps and no gaps.

A tessellation use repeated shapes to completely cover a plane with no overlaps or gaps.

Daily life examples of tessellation are honey combs, to man-made objects, like architecture and quilts.

A tessellation can use one or more geometric shapes. Hence, from the given options only the first option is not a condition for tessellation.
