You have to substitute it. For example 42n You have to either divide or multiply to get n by itself

42n, you can't take the "n" away. The "n" means times a number, so I I write n=2, then the expression will be 42 x 2, substitute the n with a 2

Calculate the area of a circle with a dime tier of 16cm pi=3
Mashcka [7]

The area of every circle is        (pi) (radius²) .

Radius = 1/2 of the diameter, so the area of your circle is

                   (pi) x (8 cm)²  =  201 cm² .    (rounded)

(pi) is not 3 .   There's nothing wrong with approximating (pi),
but 3 is more than 4.5% wrong, and that's too much.  There's
no reason why  3.14  should be too hard to handle.

9. A contestant on a game show must guess the price of a new car. The contestant will
iren [92.7K]

Given :

A contestant on a game show must guess the price of a new car. The contestant will  win if his guess is within $1000 of the price of the car.

To Find :

If the price of the car is  $24,995 and the contestant's guess is represented by g, what absolute value  inequality represents this situation.

Solution :

Let, range in which participant guess would be considered correct is r.

So, r should be in range $( 24,995 ± 1000 ).

( 24,995 - 1000 ) ≤ r ≤ ( 24,995 + 1000 )

23,995 ≤ r ≤ 25,995

Therefore, the correct inequality is 23,995 ≤ r ≤ 25,995 .

Hence, this is the required solution.

What is the value of the rate of change when we put a glass of water at room temperature in the freezer for 15 minutes, what is
alexgriva [62]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

I do not understand your question very well but I think that the state of the glass of the water would be liquid and solid at the same time since the water would not freeze 100% and would be with small pieces of solid and some parts liquid, in terms of temperature, I think that at 5 minutes it would be 5 ° C and at 10 it would be 3-4 ° C the longer it is in the freezer the less its temperature will be

(All of that is my point of view)

Average temperature 30 °

So :

30 ÷ 15 = 2 °

30 ÷ 10 = 3 °

30 ÷ 5 = 6 °
