First, we need to get the moles of Cl2 ( chlorine)

we can use the ideal gas formula to get n ( moles of gas) :

PV = nRT

when p is the pressure = 1.3 atm

and V is the volume = 25.8 L

R is the constant of the ideal gas = 8.314

T temperature in Kelvin = 293

∴ n = PV / RT

      = 1.3 * 25.8 / 8.314* 293

      = 0.0138 moles

according to the reaction equation:

2Na(s) +Cl2 → 2 NaCl

we can see from the balanced equation that the molar ration between Na & Cl2 = 2: 1

∴ moles of Na = moles of Cl2 / 2
                        = 0.0138 / 2
                        = 0.0069 moles

now, we have the moles of Na and by using the molar mass of Na = 22.99 g/mol

∴ Mass of Na = moles of Na * molar mass

                       = 0.0069 moles * 22.99

                      = 0.1586 g

Answer:

Answers are in the explanation

Explanation:

Equlibrium of HF in H₂O is:

HF + H₂O ⇄ F⁻ + H₃O⁺

Now, the KOH reacts with HF, thus:

KOH + HF →  F⁻ + H₂O

<em>That means after reaction, concentration of HF decrease increasing F⁻ concentration.</em>

Now, seeing the equilibrium, as moles of HF decrease and F⁻ moles increase, the equilibrium will shift to the left decreasing H₃O⁺ concentration.

For the statements:

A. The number of moles of HF will increase. <em>FALSE</em>. HF react with KOH, thus, moles of HF decrease

B. The number of moles of F- will decrease. <em>FALSE</em>. The reaction produce  F⁻ increasing its moles.

C. The equilibrium concentration of H₃O⁺ will increase. <em>FALSE. </em>The equilibrium shift to the left decreasing concentration of H₃O⁺

D. The pH will decrease. <em>FALSE</em>. As the H₃O⁺ concentration decrease, pH will increase

E. The ratio of [HF] / [F-] will remain the same. <em>FALSE</em>. Because moles of HF are decreasing whereas F- moles are increasing changing, thus, ratio.

How long would it take a current of 10A to deposit 6.36g of copper during the electrolysis of copper (ll) tetraoxosulphate VI so
zhuklara [117]

It take 0.54 hours to deposit 6.36g of copper

<h3>Further explanation</h3>

Faraday's Law I

"The mass of the substance formed at each electrode is proportional to the electric current flowing in the electrolysis

W = e.i.t / 96500

\tt \large {\boxed {\bold {W \: = \: \dfrac {e \times  i \: x \: t} {96500}}}}

e = equivalent = Ar / valence

i = current, A

t = time, s

W=6.36 g

e = 63.5 : 2 =31.75

i = 10 A

\tt t=\dfrac{W\times 96500}{e.i}\\\\t=\dfrac{6.36\times 96500}{31.75\times 10 }\\\\t=1933.04~s\approx 0.54~hours
