B.
The Radio-ulna and digits of most primates and animals represents a homologous structure

An example of another internal structure is the genes.
The homologous chromosomes have the same genes in common. Each cell has at least two sets of chromosomes which one comes from one’s father also called as paternal chromosome and mother, called as the maternal chromosomes. These chromosomes are what makes the child obtain the characters and may depend on the traits the parents possess. Homologous chromosomes are not duplicated chromosomes or identical however, they are analogous or similar. The alleles for a specific characteristics isn’t the same but the same genes are in the same order.

Tropical rain forests receive heavy rainfall. How do the trees and plants of this region withstand rotting?
Lina20 [59]

Answer:

The trees and plant withstand rotting in tropical rain forest using some of these mechanisms.

Explanation:

Tropical rain forests are known for the presence of heavy rainfall, due to this, there might be a lot of water retention in the root. Some trees and plants however are able to store this water and use some of the below mentioned methods to prevent decay and rot.

Some trees in the tropical rain forest may produce very hard outer layer, these hard outer layer will protect the plant and trees form predators and microorganisms from penetrating into the inner tissues of the tree.

Some withstand rotting by producing chemical compounds, these chemical compounds prevents predators and microorganisms from destroying the plants and trees.

Let's suppose that two homologous chromosomes pair up but they are misaligned, perhaps because the chromosome contains multiple
yawa3891 [41]

Answer:

It will cause an Aneuplidy , an abnormal number of chromosomes that cause a fail on the chromosomes to separate at meiosis.

Explanation:

Abnormalities in chromosome number are the most obvious chromosomal disorder and are referred to as aneuploidy. It`s a condition in which one or more chromosomes are present in extra copies or are deficient in number, but not a complete set.

The loss of a single chromosome from a diploid genome is called monosomy and the gain of one chromosome is called trisomy, caused by nondisjunction, which occurs when pairs of homologous chromosomes or sister chromatids fail to separate during meiosis.

Misaligned or incomplete synapsis, can cause nondisjunction.

The risk of nondisjunction increases with the age of the parents.

I hope it helps!

What are the layers of digestive tract ?

The gastrointestinal tract is formed by four layers , mucosa ,submucosa, muscularis and serosa are the layers of digestive tract.

Mucosa is the innermost layer , is above the mucosa , muscularis is the middle layer and serosa is the outermost layer of digestive tract

The functions of digestive tract is to digest the food , absorption of ingested nutrient and to excrete the waste products from the body . Most of the nutrients are ingested in a form that is either too complex for absorption or insoluble and incapable of being digested
