8-the formula to find an exterior angle of a polygon is:
360/n
(n is the number of sides of the polygon)

so the answer is 40
\frac{360}{9}  = 40

9 - the formula to find an interior angle of polygon is:
\frac{(n - 2) \times 180}{n}
so the answer is 135
\frac{(8 - 2)  \times 180}{8}  =  \frac{6 \times 180}{8}  =  \frac{1080}{8}  = 135

good luck

a rectangular football field has a width of (x+2) yd. the length of the field is 2x yd more than 2 times the width. Find the are
In-s [12.5K]

Answer:

4(x + 4)(x + 2) yd²

Step-by-step explanation:

Th area of a rectangle = width × length

width = x + 2

length = 2(x + 2) + 2x = 4x + 4 = 4(x + 4)

then

the area = 4(x + 4)(x + 2)

The pattern of numbers below is an arithmetic sequence:
oee [108]

Answer:

Option C is correct

Step-by-step explanation:

The common difference is 10,

So,  the function is f(n + 1) = f(n) + 10 , where f(1) = 14

The recursive function for the arithmetic sequence is given by:

          .....[1]

where d is the common difference of the two consecutive terms.

Given the arithmetic sequence :

14, 24, 34, 44, 54, .......

First term f(1) = 14

Common difference(d) = 10

Since,

24 -14 = 10

34-24 = 10

44-34 = 10 and so on....

Substitute d = 4 in [1], we have;

Therefore, the recursive function used to generate the sequence is,

and f(1) = 10

Find the measure of ∠5.<br><br> Given:<br> ∠4 = 37°<br> ∠8 = 62°
Lisa [10]

Answer:

99

Step-by-step explanation:

Geometry is not my best subject but here's what I did:

The sum of the angles in a triangle is 180 so if we add 4 and 8 we can get angle 6

--> 180 - (37+62)

--> 180 - 99

---> 81

The sum of the angles on a line intersected at a point = 180

180 - 81 = Angle 5

Angle 5 = 99
