Why were many people in the Georgia Colony slow to support the American Revolution at first?

Answer:

The colony’s economy depended on trade with Great Britain.

Explanation:

During that time, most of the products of the Georgia were exported to English Navy. Also, England and West Indies were the most important market for trade o the Georgians. Other than trade, protection from the British government was another reason for slow support to American Revolution.

They didn’t believe the new-born country could protect them from neighbouring threats of Spanish and French from south and west respectively. They believed much in the protection of one of most powerful nations, England.

And many of the fish that are not killed by this pollution are mostly worthless due to them containing heavy metals such as zinc and lead.

polet [3.4K]

Answer:

Winfield Scott's Anaconda Plan did not bring an early end to the war as he had hoped. However, it did seriously weaken the ability of the states in rebellion to fight and, in combination with Lincoln's plan to pursue a land war, led to the defeat of the South.

By having control of the river, Union forces would split the Confederacy in two and control an important route to move men and supplies. The last major Confederate stronghold on the Mississippi River was the city of Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Explanation:

The two human impacts of human economic activity on the environment are as follows:

1. Deforestation: The Sub- Saharan Africa is occupied with scanty bushes and trees in the forest area. The climate is hot and dry. The removal of bushes and trees has resulted in deforestation and desertification in the region.

2. Wetland degradation: The discharge of agricultural drainage into the wetland has degraded the quality of water in the wetlands in Sub- Saharan Africa.
