If I were the nurse in this scenario, I would probably go over a lot of key parts of development and how they work. Also, say that most if not all developmental phases are painless, which may help her worriedness. Hope this helps! :)
You did nothing wrong but life is unfair and we all go through tough times but its like a life lesson to learn from our mistakes. And you are strong for going through that because not all people would have been able to make it through. Dont worry we all have happy endings we just have to dig hard enough to find them. I hope you find someone better that treats you right.
