High kinetic energy, usually from heat, although more effective collisions could also occur due to the presence of a catalyst, lowering the activation energy required for two atoms to collide and make a product. Generally though, the acceptable answer for this would be kinetic energy caused by an increase in temperature.

Entropy is the tax we pay for borrowing nature's power.discuss
Alexxandr [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

Entropy is the thermal energy that is unavailable for humans to do useful work.human system normally progress from disorder to order. This entropy interferes with humans day to day activities. Once this energy is consumed it is converted from one form to another and it is the tax paid for those energies. It is the continuous dissipation of energy. For example if 1000J of energy is consumed, and nature take part of it, 900J is available for work.

The molar solubility of ba3(po4)2 is 8.89 x 10-9 m in pure water. calculate the ksp for ba3(po4)2. the molar solubility of ba3(p
Flura [38]
Answer is: The molar solubility of ba3(po4)2 is 6.00 x 10-39.
Balanced chemical reaction: Ba₃(PO₄)₂(s) → 3Ba²⁺(aq) + 2PO₄³⁻(aq).
s(Ba₃(PO₄)₂) = 8.89·10⁻⁹ M.
[Ba²⁺] = 3s(Ba₃(PO₄)₂) = 3s.
[PO₄³⁻] = 2s.
Ksp = [Ba²⁺]³ · [PO₄³⁻]².
Ksp = (3s)³ · (2s)².
Ksp = 108s⁵.
Ksp = 108·(8.89·10⁻⁹ M)⁵.
Ksp = 108 · 5.55·10⁻⁴¹ = 6·10⁻³⁹.

A sample of an unknown metal has a mass of 22.4g. A graduated cylinder contains 3.2 ml of water. After the metal sample is added
Goshia [24]

Answer:

d = 14.9 g/mL

Explanation:

Given data:

Mass of metal = 22.4 g

Volume of eater = 3.2 mL

Volume of water + metal = 4.7 mL

Density of metal = ?

Solution:

Volume of metal:

Volume of metal = volume of water+ metal - volume of water

Volume of metal = 4.7 mL - 3.2 mL

Volume of metal = 1.5 mL

Density of metal:

d = m/v

d = density

m = mass

v = volume

d = 22.4 g/ 1.5 mL

d = 14.9 g/mL
