The correct answer is Radiocarbon dating

Absolute dating is used to determine the absolute age of the fossil. Radiocarbon dating is used to determine the absolute age of the fossil, by using carbon dating we calculate the amount of carbon left in the organic matter(fossil). The cosmic radiation entering the earth produces C-14 moves up in the food chain and as plants use carbon atoms present in the atmosphere for photosynthesis and this carbon is transferred from plants to animals. This carbon takes 5730 years to decay into half and convert into nitrogen. This is how we know the age of carbon and the amount of carbon left in the fossil determines the age of the fossil absolutely.

Is there a mammal that lays eggs
Bess [88]
Yes, there are mammals that lay eggs instead of giving birth to a live young. These mammals are called Monotremes. One best example to this is the platypus and echidnas. Platypus, which is also known as the duck-billed platypus, is a semiaquatic egg laying mammal. Echidnas on the other hand are also called as spiny eaters. Echidna and platypus are only the surviving members of the Tachyglosside. And are the sole extant egg laying mammal

What are roles of producers, consumers, and decomposers in an ecosystem
Daniel [21]
An organism that obtains energy and nutrients by feeding on other organisms or their remains. A food web is a model of the feeding relationships between many different consumers and producers in an ecosystem. Without plants (the primary producers) consumers and decomposers would not be able to live. Producers always start every food chain. A consumer, also called a heterotroph, is an organism that cannot make its own food. It must eat producers or other organisms for energy.
