4x-9=7x+12
    +9       +9
4x=7x+21
-7x -7x
-3x=21
x=-7
First, you add 9 to 12
Next, you subtract 7x to 4x
Lastly, you divide 21 by -3
Basically, you want to just get x by itself. Once you do that you will be all good. :)

First you bring the x to one side so u subtract 4x from 7x and you get the new equation as -9=3x+12 then you just solve and you get x is equal to -7

mestny [16]

Answer:

The value of Mary's investment after two years = £12362.7

Step-by-step explanation:P = Principal / initial amountR = rate of interest per cent per yearT = number of yearsA = final amount at the end of T yearsThen:A = P*(1 + R/100)^2In our example:P = £12000R = 1.5 per cent per yearT = 2 yearsThus:A = 12000*(1 + 1.5/100)^2   = 12000*(1 + 0.015)^2   = 12000*(1.015)^2    = 12000*(1.030225)    = 12362.7Value of investment after two years = £12362.7

Suppose that 8 cards are drawn from a well-shuffled deck of 52 cards. What is the probability that all 8 are black? The probabil
Zanzabum

Answer:

0.0020760077

Step-by-step explanation:

The probability of drawing the first black card is 26/52 because there are 26 of them in a deck of 52.

The probability of drawing the second black card is 25/51 because there are 25 of them in a deck of 51.

The probability of drawing the third black card is 24/50 because there are 24 of them in a deck of 50.

And so on and so forth, now we just have to multiply the 8 fractions together:

26/52*25/51*24/50*23/49*22/48*21/47*20/46*19/45=

\frac{26}{52} *\frac{25}{51} *\frac{24}{50}* \frac{23}{49} *\frac{22}{48} *\frac{21}{47} * \frac{20}{46} * \frac{19}{45}= 0.0020760077
