Mathematics

Dimas [21]3 years ago
6 0

25 meters per second x 60 seconds = 1500 meters per minute

1500 meters per minute x 60 minutes per hour = 90,000 meters per hour

1 mile = 1609.34 meters

90000/1609.34 = 55.92 miles per hour

round answer to either 55.9 or 56 mph depending on what you need.

b. When the number of calls per month is greater than 480, then Plan 1 is more economical. Example: If the number of calls is greater than 480 say 500, then charges in plan 2 will be $39, but Plan 1 is more economical and charges will be $38.

Z^m-n (z^m+ z^m+n + z^n)
rusak2 [61]

Answer:Your left hand side evaluates to:

m+(−1)mn+(−1)m+(−1)mnp

and your right hand side evaluates to:

m+(−1)mn+(−1)m+np

After eliminating the common terms:

m+(−1)mn from both sides, we are left with showing:

(−1)m+(−1)mnp=(−1)m+np

If p=0, both sides are clearly equal, so assume p≠0, and we can (by cancellation) simply prove:

(−1)(−1)mn=(−1)n.

It should be clear that if m is even, we have equality (both sides are (−1)n), so we are down to the case where m is odd. In this case:

(−1)(−1)mn=(−1)−n=1(−1)n

Multiplying both sides by (−1)n then yields:

1=(−1)2n=[(−1)n]2 which is always true, no matter what n is

1) b= -20

Step-by-step explanation:

You bring the variable you want to find to one side by either bringing over the second term to the other side of the equation and change its sign or if it's a fraction you multiply both sides to remove the denominator and then solve
