\bf log_{{  a}}(xy)\implies log_{{  a}}(x)+log_{{  a}}(y)
\\ \quad \\
% Logarithm of rationals
log_{{  a}}\left(  \frac{x}{y}\right)\implies log_{{  a}}(x)-log_{{  a}}(y)\\\\
-----------------------------\\\\
log_b(x)-[log_b(y)+log_b(z)]\implies log_b(x)-[log_b(yz)]
\\\\\\
log_b\left( \cfrac{x}{yz} \right)

Wyatt's room is a rectangle with a perimeter of 40 feet.the width of the room is 8 feet.what is the length
sergij07 [2.7K]
Let's draw a diagram of this room so it's easier to solve. (see the image I've included)

The perimeter is the length of all of the sides of the rectangle, so
8 + 8 + x + x = 40
Simplify
16 + 2x = 40
Subtract 16 from both sides
2x = 24
Divide by 2 on both sides
x = 12

The length of the rectangle is 12.

Hopefully this helps! If you don't understand or have more questions, feel free to DM me!! :)

there is a bowl of fruit on the table there are twice as many apples as pears and one more orange than Apples 8 pieces are eithe
UNO [17]
There are two pears because 8 pieces are either oranges or bananas and there are 3 bananas so that means there are 5 oranges there is 1 more orange than apples so there are 4 apples and since there are twice as many apples as they are pears there are 2 pears.
