At the boiling point, external pressure is equal to the vapor pressure of water. Therefore, the vapor pressure of water at an ecternal pressure of 404 kPa is equal to 404 kPa as well. Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day. Feel free to ask more questions.

Answer:

Vapor pressure is 404kPa

Explanation:

Before proceeding, it is important to understand the  terms (External pressure, Vapour Pressure and boiling point) and their relationship.

Vapor Pressure is defined as pressure of a vapour from a liquid at its surface.

Atmospheric (external) pressure is the sum of pressures of all the gas components, including the vapor pressure of the liquid. This is a description of Dalton's law.

How are both pressures then related to boiling?

When vapor pressure is the same as the external pressure then a liquid is deemed to be Boiling.

This means that the Vapour pressure is also 404kPa.

Which of the following is necessary to do a complete stoichiometric calculation?
jeka57 [31]

Answer:

Write the mole ratio.

Explanation:

The term stoichiometry is coined from two words: stoicheon(atom) and metron(measurement).

Stoichiometry uses the composition or chemical reactions of matter and the moles to quantity the elementary particles of a matter.

In order to do this, we use the mole ratio as the basis of the calculation. The mole is related to different parameters that we can obtained experimentally and theoretically about a reaction.
