15 +17 +14 = 46 juice boxes total

15 cherry = 15/46

17 grape = 17/45

15/46 * 17/45 = 17/138

15 cherry, 17 grape, and 14 orange....total of 46 juice boxes

P(cherry) = 15/46
without replacing
P(grape) = 17/45 (I put it over 45 because since the 1st was not replaced, we have 1 less juice box)

P (both events happening) = 15/46 * 17/45 = 17/138 <==

What is the equation for this math problem? Steven spent $90 on clothes. He bought a pair of jeans that cost $34 and spent the r
dexar [7]

Answer:

The equation for the given maths problem is $ 34 + $ 8x = $ 90

Step-by-step explanation:

According to question :

The Total amount spent on  cloths = $ 90

The cost of a pair of jeans  = $ 34

The cost of each t-shirt pair = $ 8

The amount spent on t-shirt = $ 90 - $ 34 = $ 56

Let the number of t-shirt pair = x

So, $ 34 + $ 8x = $ 90

Or,  $ 8x = $ 90 - $ 34

∴         x = \frac{ 90 -  34}{8}

Hence The equation for the given maths problem is $ 34 + $ 8x = $ 90  Answer

The total cost of hiring paul the plumber is a function of the required number of hours needed to complete the repair. Paul char
DiKsa [7]

Paul surely charges 75 dollars, and then he adds 40 dollars per hours. This means that the expression for the money he asks is

m = 75+40h

where m is the amount of money and h is the number of hours.

Since h can be at most 8, this is the case that generates the highest money, so if we plug h=8 we have

m = 75+40\cdot 8 = 75 + 320 = 395
