The oceanic crust has three layers: layer one, layer two and layer three. The first layer consists of non stratified or semi - stratified sediments. It consists of land sediments. The third layer consists of granulated gabbros and igneous rocks that have low content of silica rocks. Continental crust contains different kinds of granite.
