The reason that Shirley's testimony was invalid because she's a minor and by that, that memories about the robbery that she remembers could harm her and would most likely be susceptible to the suggestion. That is why the court would make her testimony as invalid and wouldn't consider it in any way even though she is the witness of the robbery.

Alex777 [14]

Answer:

Primary group would include the following:

-a close-knit group of adult friends who have been together since middle school

-a married couple

Secondary group would include the following:

-a tailoring shop that makes bespoke (fully custom) suits for men

-a professional football team

Explanation:

When the members of a social group share very close and lasting relationships, such group is considered a primary group. Members in this group shows concern for each other and most time carried each other's burdens. For example, family, influential social groups, and childhood friendship.

On the other hand, secondary groups consist of people who interactions are strictly outcome-based or business-related or interaction between members are done on a less personal level.

Define a double-blind study, demand characteristics, and observer bias.  How does a double-blind design control for demand chara
Molodets [167]

Answer:

A double-blind study is one in which neither the participants nor the experimenters know who is receiving a particular treatment. This procedure is utilized to prevent bias in research results. Double-blind studies are particularly useful for preventing bias due to demand characteristics or the placebo effect.

For example, let's imagine that researchers are investigating the effects of a new drug. In a double-blind study, the researchers who interact with the participants would not know who was receiving the actual drug and who was receiving a placebo.
