By providing free education, governments help to educate an entire populous regardless of their financial backing or social status. With education, people are able to have more access to a wider range of jobs, have more skills to offer in the workforce, and also have more aptitude to become successful in their careers and lives.

By providing access to free basic education, the government is contributing to poverty alleviation. With proper education, people have more access to improve skills and get a job to support their lives.

EXPLANATION:

Getting a higher education is a privilege. Those who live in poverty have are most likely not able to attain formal education. It’s not only about access, but also a financial issue. When these people have money on their hands, they usually prefer to use it for foods and other basic needs rather than education. Meanwhile, the right education can help lift people out of poverty by improving their lives physically, mentally, and financially.

That is why free basic education provided by the government is crucial in contributing to poverty alleviation. People in poverty do not have to spend money to get a proper education. There are so many positive ways education can affect poverty:

  • Improving knowledge and skills, which can lead to more opportunities in getting a proper job.
  • Reduces malnutrition as people are educated on agriculture and farming techniques. They’ll be able to grow and sell their foods.
  • Improves gender equity, allowing girls to be educated so that they can make their own decisions.
  • Creates free-thinking citizens, better health and well-being.

The governments of most Central Asian countries today can best be characterized as
Maksim231197 [3]

After the fall of the former Soviet Union and the rapid disappearance of communism in Europe, the population of the former Soviet States were extremely happy about the situation, and with the help of the West most of the countries in this region made a move to democracy. These principal Central Asian countries are Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Unfortunately, ten years later the jubilation about the democratization process in this region has gone sour, and the reality today is that most of these countries are turning into Dictatorships. Even though, the governments of these countries promised to support democratic ruled, they are now clearly  embarked in non-democratic ruled.

The western democracies are alarmed by these trend, and they are trying to do what they can but no one knows what the results will be.

Studies have concluded that people progress through maslow's needs hierarchy as predicted.
irga5000 [103]
That statement is False.
MAslow hierarchy of needs depict a clear path which indicates that people wouldn't be able to fulfill the needs on higher hierarchy if we haven't fulfill the needs on lower hierarchy.
Here's his hierarchy's arrangement from top to bottom:
- self actualization
- Self-esteem
- Love/belonging
- safety
- Physiological

But often times, we do not follow this hierarchy from bottom to top. (for example, some obsessed individual might want to sacrifice need for love/belonging as long as she could realized her life-long dream i.e: self-actualization)
