By providing free education, governments help to educate an entire populous regardless of their financial backing or social status. With education, people are able to have more access to a wider range of jobs, have more skills to offer in the workforce, and also have more aptitude to become successful in their careers and lives.

By providing access to free basic education, the government is contributing to poverty alleviation. With proper education, people have more access to improve skills and get a job to support their lives.

EXPLANATION:

Getting a higher education is a privilege. Those who live in poverty have are most likely not able to attain formal education. It’s not only about access, but also a financial issue. When these people have money on their hands, they usually prefer to use it for foods and other basic needs rather than education. Meanwhile, the right education can help lift people out of poverty by improving their lives physically, mentally, and financially.

That is why free basic education provided by the government is crucial in contributing to poverty alleviation. People in poverty do not have to spend money to get a proper education. There are so many positive ways education can affect poverty:

  • Improving knowledge and skills, which can lead to more opportunities in getting a proper job.
  • Reduces malnutrition as people are educated on agriculture and farming techniques. They’ll be able to grow and sell their foods.
  • Improves gender equity, allowing girls to be educated so that they can make their own decisions.
  • Creates free-thinking citizens, better health and well-being.

Answer:

Split the Confederacy

Explanation:

General Robert E. Lee' was widely known as one of the finest Generals commanding the Confederate's Amry during the American Civil war. While he won some battles against the Union army.

However, his main strategy for winning the war is attributed to splitting his army into two.

This is evident in the battle of Chancellorsville when against the Union General Joseph Hoóker’s Army of the Potomac, General Lee split his army into two where one group attack from the front, the other attack from the side. And he did that many times during the war.
