Remember that ratios are essentially fractions without fraction bars...

If they asked to find the ration of 19.50 to 16.25 you would set them up like so....

19.50 : 16.25 -----> since fractions can be simplified so can ratios in the same manner

the ratio you would end up with is 6 : 5

Ratios can be easily remembered and solved if you understand the link between them and fractions.

I hope this helps! :D

Valerie has a circular garden. The radius of the garden is 4 feet. She wants to buy edging to outline her circular garden.Which
ss7ja [257]
You'd need to find the distance AROUND the garden, which is also PERIMETER.

To find the perimeter of a circle, you use the following equation:
2 \pi r

2 \pi (4) = 8 \pi

8 \pi = 25.13 ft

I don't know what your answer options are, but chose the option closest to 25.13 ft

A polynomial p has zeros when I = 0.2 = -
Rainbow [258]

Answer:

p(x) = (5x - 1) (x + 3)

Step-by-step explanation:

I apologize if I couldn't answer correctly, the question was a bit hard to understand because of the formatting.

Also I didn't see my answer in the list of answer choices but here it is:

if the polynomial has zeros at 0.2 and -3 the equation would have to be:

p(x)=(x-0.2)(x+3)

This is because plugging either of those numbers into the polynomial would cause it to equal 0.

(x-0.2) can be simplified by multiplying everything in the parenthesis by 5, getting rid of all of the decimals, making the final answer:

p(x) = (5x - 1) (x + 3)

The lines graphed below are parallel. The slope of the red line is -4/3. What is the slope of the green line?
miss Akunina [59]
I believe the correct answer from the choices listed above is option C. The slope of the green line would be -4/3. Parallel lines are lines in a plane which do not meet; that is, two lines in a plane that do not intersect or touch each other at any point. These lines should have equal slopes. Hope this answers the question.
