To form a linear pair means that when added, they equal 180 degrees.
but if they have equal measures....180/2 = 90...then they would both equal 90 degrees.....and 90 degrees is a right angle.
So ABC and CBD are both right angles

Answer:

Right angle

Step-by-step explanation:

When two lines intersect, a linear pair is formed, two angles being linear pair means the sum of those two angles is 180°.

Now if ∠ABC and ∠CBD for a linear pair,

∴∠ABC + ∠CBD = 180°

also given that ∠ABC and ∠CBD are of equal measure

∴ ∠ABC + ∠ABC = 180°

⇒ ∠ABC = 90° = ∠CBD

∴ ∠ABC is right angle

How to find root hair
dimulka [17.4K]
I'll proceed by evaluating total length and surface area by scanned images. For measurements, I suggest to use winrhizo or any similar software. In this case the most important thing to think about is to use the appropiate acquisition parameters, I mean, to set a good resolution during scanning. Pixels of the aquired image should be smaller than root hairs diameter. Therefore, let me try to suggest you a good acquisition resolution. Making a quick research, it seems that hair root diameters range between 0,012 and 0,017 mm, so I suggest a resolution that will give a pixel dimension of 0,002 mm. Root hair diameters should be composed by 6-8 pixels, that is enough for winrhizo measurements. Resolution is measured in dpi, so in "dots/pixel per inch". A inch is 25,4 mm. We need pixels with a diameter of 0,002 mm, so in 25,4 mm we found 12700 pixels. That means 12700 dpi. It's a very high resolution, you need a good scanner and much space in your computer.

Find the surface area of the figure. ft
Lapatulllka [165]

Answer:

486

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello!

To find the surface area of a cube we use the equation

S = 6a^{2}

S is the surface area

a is the side length

Put what we know into the equation

S = 6*9^{2}

Solve

S = 6 * 81

S = 486

Hope this Helps!

A shoe store marks up its merchandise by 8%. What was the selling price of a pair of shoes whose wholesale price is $24.50? Show
Alika [10]

Answer:

Result: $26.46

Steps:

$24.50 (increase) + 8% = $26.46

24.50 x (1 + 8%) = 24.50 x (1 + 0.08) = 26.46

I'm truly sorry if my math is incorrect.

For the given equation find the value a, b, and c, determine the direction in which the parabola opens and determine the y-inter
Y_Kistochka [10]

Answer: Table A

Step-by-step explanation:

The coefficient of x^2 is 1, the coefficient of x is -6, and the constant is 0. This means that a = 1, b = -6, and c = 0.

 • This eliminates tables B and C.

Now, we need to determine if the graph opens up or down to differentiate between A and B. Since the coefficient of x^2 is positive, the graph opens up.

 • Thus the answer is Table A.
