Taking the square root of a negative number is not possible unless you involve complex numbers. If your teacher has not introduced that topic yet, then you just simply say "cannot be done" or something along those lines.
The etimated answer would be 20. The method that I used is I rounded 3.9 to 4 and 4.6 to 5 and then I mutiplied. Hope I helped
